My name is Dr. Katie Siemens, and I am honored to serve my hometown community as a general dentist. For the past two decades, dentistry has been more than a career—it has been a calling. At our practice, we believe in creating a dental home where patients feel welcomed, valued, and cared for like family.
Growing up in Fresno, I was a curious child who loved visiting the dentist and asking endless questions from the dental chair. By junior high school, I knew I wanted to become a dentist. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from UCLA, where I received departmental honors, before receiving the President's Scholarship to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. I graduated in 2006, carrying with me the lasting influence of Dean Dr. Dugoni, who taught that at UOP, we strive to grow people, not just dentists. That philosophy continues to shape how I practice dentistry and lead my team.
I pride myself on being a dentist who sees the people, not just the teeth, in my dental chair.
After graduating, I returned to Fresno and began my career as an associate dentist before purchasing my practice in October 2008. What began with a team of four has grown into a team of 10, including myself. Over the years, I have remained committed to continuing education so I can provide thoughtful, comprehensive care to my patients. I believe in seeing the person behind the smile, taking the time to build meaningful relationships, and treating every patient with the same care and respect I would offer my own family.
Outside the office, my greatest joy is spending time with my husband, our son, and our dog. We love being together with our family and friends, who are thankfully all local, attending church, traveling to the beach, hiking, reading, and cheering on our son at sporting events. I also have a deep passion for serving my community, particularly through mentoring and supporting young people.
As a member of North Fresno Rotary, I help select high school students for a Rotary-sponsored leadership camp each summer. I also enjoy participating in career days and welcoming students who are interested in dentistry to shadow me at the office. In addition, I serve on the Board of the Fresno Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, an organization I have supported since the groundbreaking of its now-open Nature Center. The center provides families and young people with opportunities to learn about native wildlife and supports the rehabilitation of injured animals.
In recognition of my community involvement, I was honored to receive Rotarian of the Year in 2024. Whether I am caring for patients, mentoring students, or volunteering in the community, I believe in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I look forward to continuing this journey for many years to come and welcoming each patient into our dental home.
